Search of the Royal Hakim through 557 spies: The Royal Hakim of the Nawab of Bahawalpur committed some mistake. Fearing the anger of the Nawab, he ran away from his court. Nawab of Bahawalpur dispatched his 557 spies in various states of the sub-continent to search and locate Hakim Khwaja Rahim Ullah. Finally one of the spies upon his arrival told that the Royal Hakim is present in Hyderabad at some place and he is selling medicines on a sack spread on a street. (My Sheikh Murshid Hajeri رحمت اللہ علیہ used to say that a Hakim is the ruler of the rulers. He spreads his mat anywhere and earns his bread.) Now the Nawab of Bahawalpur himself disguised himself and went to the Hakim. He stood in front of him and said: ‘ Alas ! Hakim Rahim Ullah. You are unhappy with me and came here? Get up and come with me.’ Listening to this, Hakim Rahim Ullah was taken aback.
Worldly honour of Nawab of Bahawalpur: Every year, the British Viceroy used to arrange a party for all the Nawabs. In this party, the vehicle of the Nawab of Bahawalpur used to be immediately after the car of the Viceroy. This was a great honour in those days. The two states amongst which the treasure of Mughal era was distributed included the states of Hyderabad (Daccan) and Bahawalpur. So the Nawab of this State of Bahawalpur in person brought back Hakim Rahim Ullah. But the state of friendship with the Nawab was such that Khwaja Rahim Ullah did not die of natural death !
Friendship and Annoyance of the Nawab: After searching when I reached the grave of the Royal Hakim, I stood there in great grief. I was visualizing the scenes as to how much respect and honour this man must be receiving from his king. What would have been his esteem in the Royal court of the Nawab of Bahawalpur? At that time, the Hakim enjoyed great fame in the Royal court. But when the Nawab got angry, the Hakim took poison due to his annoyance. People in the mosque saw that foam was coming out of the mouth of the Royal Hakim. Due to great pain, he scratched his heels with the floor so aggressively that the skin from the heels got removed. Khwaja Rahim Ullah died. He committed suicide.
Develop friendship with the Kind Master: My friends..! There is no benefit in meeting, developing relations and acquiring close acquaintance with worldly Nawabs, ministers, kings and rulers. Benefit will be gained when you meet with this supreme King. You develop relations with this greatest King. Become a near and dear one of this real King who despite 70 sins, despite 70 faults, despite 70 disobediences, responds when a person says : (Text in Arabic). Angels immediately come down from skies and tells that sinful person that: ‘it is the order of our creator, say what do you want?’. Such a kind creator is our Allah.
Love of Allah Almighty: Lovers of Allah! When a mother is upset, beg her and she will become happy. If annoyed again, she will forgive in some more time. Make her angry the third time and she will forgive in even greater time. But when she is annoyed for the fourth time she will say: ‘Go away. Get lost from my sight. We have no relations anymore. You have no association with my creator. I will never own my feeding of milk to you.’ She also says: ‘Do not let him attend my funeral. I do not even like to see him.’ Then no recommendation whatsoever are acceptable to her.
But that Karim… No matter how much do you annoy him .. ! Remain to be a disbeliever for even 100 years .. ! Challenge him for 100 years.. ! Make your own Gods other than him for 100 years ..! Even then when that sinner pleads for mercy in the court of the kind Almighty, bows in front of him for excuse, our Karim Allah forgives him immediately.
Illumination of the Seven Skies: When a sinner seeks Allah’s forgiveness, Allah Subhana ho Wa Taala illuminates al the seven skies. When the angels asks about this he replies: “One of my beings is coming to me for forgiveness. This is for welcoming him.” When a person takes one step towards Allah, our creator takes 10 steps towards him. Whe he walks towards Allah, Allah runs towards him and welcomes him. When the greatest Allah is so kind to us, is it correct to defy him? Is it appropriate to be disloyal to him? Then we claim that our business does not flourish without untruthfulness. It does not progress without fallacy. Our business does not grow without defiance and our goods does not sell without cheating. What can we do? It is our constraint. No, Allah’s believers ! this is not our constraint, but our defiance. How can we get satisfaction after leaving Allah Almighty ?
